All About Albizia

Albizia have delicate foliage that is almost mimosa-like in appearance.  The fine foliage acts as the perfect foil for the pink fluffy flowers that appear in the late summer.  These delicate looking creatures are hardier than they look.  They have the air of tropical elegance and tend to do their thing later in the season than most trees.  All Albizia like a warm sheltered spot in full sun with the roots benefiting from a mulch in the winter.  Happy in a well-drained soil, Albizia will still benefit from plenty of water when establishing and in long hot, dry summers.
