Malus 'Prairifire' is a medium sized, spreading tree that is worthy of a mention. The emerging leaves are dark red in colour adding a sense of drama to the deep pink flowers that appear at the same time. The leaves will mature to a dark reddish-green colour with deep red veins over the growing season.
In the autumn the small deep red-purple fruit make an appearance adding to the autumn appeal of this lovely Malus choice.
