Prunus ‘Amanogawa’

Prunus ‘Amanogawa’ or the Flagpole Cherry is a narrow upright form of Flowering Cherry. Clusters of semi-double, pale pink, shell-like fragrant flowers are produced from late April though to May.

Emerging spring foliage is coppery in colour appearing after the flowers have bloomed, turning green for the rest of the season before turning to strong orange -red autumn foliage.
