Paper Mulberry. Unusual lobed leaves make this tree stand out from the crowd alongside the unusual small cluster-like fluffy pink flowers it produces in the summer which are followed by edible red fruits in the late summer / autumn. The leaves are slightly hairy to the touch. Great for use on chalky soils it can reach up to 10m in height and 5m in spread once mature. It prefers a sunny site with some shelter at first and a well-drained soil.
