In early October Provender Nurseries were delighted to announce that Alex Buckley, Nursery Supervisor was selected as one of Pro Landscapers 30 Under 30. 30 Under 30 was launched in 2015 as a way of recognising the work younger people across the horticultural sectors and is sponsored by Green-tech.
Now well established by Pro Landscaper Alex was awarded her winners plaque along with the other 29 selected winners. Alex also had attended a celebratory dinner after a long day on our stand at Futurescapes.
We are extremely proud of Alex and her achievements since she has been at Provender Nurseries.
Alex says of her award ‘ I am bowled over with the selection and look forward to meeting my fellow 30 Under 30’s’.
Richard McKenna says’ The fact that Alex has been recognised and selected as one of the 30 Under 30: The Next Generation is a huge bonus to Alex personally and to Provender Nurseries as a business. We work hard on staff development and it has been fantastic to watch Alex grow (!) and for her efforts to be rewarded in such a way’.
