Acer palmatum ‘Skeeters Broom’

Acer palmatum ‘Skeeters Broom’

The narrow, upright habit of Acer palmatum ‘Skeeters Broom’ is accentuated by the uniform branching produced from the stem.  This upright Acer is quite statuesque in shape and structure.  The leaves when they emerge are almost fluorescent in colour and mature to purple-red in the summer before changing to deep red in the autumn.

Height 2m.  A very popular choice for colour and form.
