Members from the Landscape Architect team at Lizard Landscape Design and Ecology visited Provender Nurseries Limited for an all-day CPD, covering the site and external production sites, import and UK processes, and pests and diseases.
We would like to thank the whole team for their contributions and lively discussion during our round table brainstorming session.
As a team, we were particularly impressed with the engagement, knowledge and thoughtfulness from Lizard as we showed them around the site after lunch.

"I found Provender Nurseries' visit very informative and well structured. Grant Beerling, Richard Burt and Stuart Tickner had planned the day really well and covered a range of topics pertaining to plant biosecurity, border control point regulations, designing with plants, risks involved in the process, nursery stock and supply of plants. There were interesting conversations around each of those topics which were new and eye opening. The nursery tour was very good directing us towards a completely new set of ornamental trees and also trees useful for climate change. The documents shared by the nursery are particularly useful and I look forward to incorporating them into our day-to-day planting proposals."
