Each year Provender Nurseries sponsor the Provender Forest School Adventure Nursery Award at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s Crayford Academy.
This is a prize awarded to a child of nursery school age that has shown ability in outdoor pursuits such as bug hunting, shelter building and outdoor learning.
Jill set this Award up via a friend of hers who is involved in the teaching at the school. Provender Nurseries were more than happy to sponsor as we appreciate the importance of nature and how much young children enjoy being outside.
Each year Jill presents the award winner a prize of wildlife attracting plants and edibles. The awards are held at the school with Jill awarding the prize to the winner. Smiles all round!
