We are excited to announce that we can now recycle customer’s used bulk bags, compost bags and all plant pots and plant trays that have been supplied by Provender Nurseries.
This new scheme was set up by our Environmental Committee as part of our sustainability drive to be greener when we can, where we can. We wanted to get this right before our big launch and have therefore been running a trial for several months with some of our customers. We are very impressed with how the recycling scheme has gone so far and are ready to spread the word!
Rest assured that none of the items you return to us for recycling go to landfill sites. Instead, they are repurposed into new products by an external company that we have been working closely with.
Recycling with Provender Nurseries is easy and hassle-free
Simply ensure all of your items to be recycled are clean, free of debris and bring them to Provender Nurseries on your next visit and drop them off at one of our recycling points (we have two on site). We have separate recycling boxes for separate items i.e. bags, trays and pots. Please make sure you put the correct items inside the correct boxes to help make the process as smooth as possible.
Recycling point locations
- Top yard by collections
- Bottom yard
We hope you are as excited we are about our new recycling scheme.
Remember, the blue plant pots from Provender Nurseries are from our own production plants and can also be kerb-recycled.
