Magnolia stellata 'Royal Star' produces much larger flowers than other stellata forms. They have pink tinged buds which open to double, white, star-shaped, fragrant flowers with 30 or so petals. Magnolia stellata 'Royal Star' is compact in growth and thrives in full sun/partial shade.
