Malus ‘Evereste’ is one of the most popular Crab Apple tree choices with its profusion of deep red buds, changing to pink and opening to reveal pure white flowers in the spring. There literally is no better sight than a Malus ‘Evereste’ in full bloom covered in happy bees.
In the autumn a vibrant display of orange yellow foliage takes centre stage before the masses of small yellow-red fruit in the winter. The fruit are held throughout the winter providing a colourful winter display and are taken by birds late in the season.
‘Evereste’ has a slightly conical habit reaching 6m in height and 3m spread. An excellent choice for smaller gardens, parks and urban areas. Tolerant of urban pollution and known to be disease resistant too.
