Camellias

It is springtime which means only one thing, it’s Camellia time.

Flowering from March through to May, Camellia are an excellent value shrub providing blousy blooms in colours of pink, red, bicolour, light yellow and white depending on variety.

With a choice of over 70 options in stock including popular choices such as Black Lace, Doctor King, Brushfields Yellow, Lady Campbell and Silver Anniversary there is bound to be a colour option to suit your colour theme.

Camellia benefit from watering in dry spells and an application of ericaceous feed after flowering to keep the new growth in tip top condition.

Amelanchier lamarckii 90L 20-250cm multi-stem

Amelanchier lamarckii is one of the most popular tree choices in the industry. Once in full bloom in the spring, you can see why this tree choice is top of the list.

The small star shaped white flowers are borne in abundance looking even more dramatic against the newly emerging coppery coloured foliage. The foliage changes to green through the summer season before a final show of yellow-orange red foliage in the autumn.

These multi-stem Amelanchier lamarckii will make a statement with their great framework of branches and sturdy stems.

Acer Palmatum 'Orange Dream'

Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' will really get noticed in the spring with the emergence of the leaves tinged in orange, yellow with a darker orange edge. As the leaves mature to a lime green in the summer, this small tree will still stand its ground before putting on a dazzling display of bright yellow foliage in the autumn. In the winter months the green stems add to the seasonal interest of Orange Dream.

Orange Dream has a graceful, bushy, spreading habit and reaches around 300 to 400cm in both height and spread making it an excellent choice for smaller areas, in containers and in mixed borders.
