Spring interest

Spring interest

Looking good now and popping into colour for spring. We have a snippet of our spring interest plants below.

  • Brunnera Jack Frost brings interest to the shaded parts of a garden in the spring. Small bright blue flowers are held above the white speckled heart shaped leaves. A must underneath trees.
  • Camellias. An ever popular choice with the bright flowers in spring. 80 options on site ranging from dark red in colour to white.
  • Forsythia. There can be no denying spring is in the air when the Forsythia starts to do its thing. It just can’t be beaten for that jolly yellow flower.
  • Acer palmatum. The Acer house is a pure joy to walk through at the moment with the fresh zingy new spring foliage of over 120 options to be found.
  • Chaenomeles are bursting into bloom with the dramatic red flowers of Mango Storm taking the nursery by ……..storm!
  • Small, petite Prunus Kojo-no-mai is certainly turning heads with its delicate structure adorned by small pink-white flowers in profusion in spring.
  • Amelanchier lamarckii. Buds are unfurling as I type. Brilliant plants on site from 10L at 60cm to great multi-stems at 350cm
