Fast-growing with silvery foliage that matures to summery pale green turning butter-yellow in autumn. Few plants shine as brightly in August as the Buddleja, and when butterflies cover the nectar-rich flowers they create a high-summer spectacle and so excellent to bring wildlife into the garden. Good amongst summer herbaceous, prefers full sun or partial shade, plant in moist but well drained soil, if left unpruned can reach a height of 4 metres.
