Viola sororia 'Freckles'
Description: A small, mound-forming viola producing an abundance of distinctive flowers. Each white flowers is attractively freckled with violet-purple in spring and early summer.
An easy plant to grow, tolerates damp soils better than most, and is a prolific self-seeder, which may spread rapidly in ideal conditions.
It obviously gets its name from the purple speckles on its white petals.
