Description: Soft silvery leaves which form a low spreading mound. In summer the plant is smothered with bright yellow button flowers on long stalks. The feathery foliage is aromatic to the touch and forms a neat plant.
Uses: Good in dry gardens, in hot an mediterranean style gardens, with silver or purple plants and in aromatic gardens.
Climate/Position: Full sun needed as the silvery leaves suggest.
Height/Spread: 60cm x 1 metre
Soil Requirements: Free draining soil and very drought tolerant.
Pruning: Regular trimming is needed to ensure a compact plant is maintained. Cut back after flowering or can be cut back hard to encourage foliage but will then not flower.
Special Requirements: Avoid heavy soils and colder locations.
