Rudbeckia 'Little Gold Star'
Description: This compact form of Rudbeckia is a recent introduction and likely to be very popular. The rich yellow orange daisy like flowers are produced in profusion on stout branches for a long lasting display in late summer colour from August to November. Bushy mounds of lush green foliage from spring.
Uses: Suited to the front of any mixed border, in front of grasses and prairie planting. This compact form also very suited to growing in pots and containers.
Climate/Position: Full sun or partial shade.
Height/Spread: 30-60 cm x 30 cm clump forming
Soil Requirements: Any soil, preferably well cultivated and free draining.
Pruning: Cut down old flower stems to ground level.
Special Requirements: For additional long lasting interest then leave the black 'cones' through the winter. Also good as a cut flower.
Additional Interest:
