This evergreen multi-stemmed shrub originates from New Zealand and has tough leathery leaves which have 3 / 5 fingers and are dark purple in Winter . A useful plant in coastal positions a sheltered sunny border or tubs and containers especially when aiming to give a lush or tropical appearance.

Climate / Position: Full sun to partial shade.

Height / Spread: Height 2.5m. Spread 1.5m.

Soil Requirements: Fertile, well drained soil.

Pruning: Can be pruned to shape but generally pruning is not required.
