Description: Dainty pinkish blossom is produced in flushes throughout Winter from November to March therefore making this a worthwhile tree in any garden if space allows as no other trees can brings cheer with flowers in the depth of winter. In addition the leaves provide good autumn colour before they fall - just as the blossom starts.

Uses: A small to medium sized rounded tree for medium to larger gardens.

Climate/Position: Open sunny position prefered to ensure best shape and flowering..

Height/Spread: 8 metres

Soil Requirements: Tolerant of most well drained soils including lime/chalky soils.

Pruning: No pruning necessary except shaping young trees or removal of crossing branches. In older trees dead branches may be removed. Prune in mid summer after flowering.
