Prunus 'Pandora'

Description: An attractive ornamental cherry with an upright habit making it ideal for small urban gardens. The deep pink buds open from late March through to April to produce profuse white flowers with a pink flush to the edges of the petals. The leaves are bright green turn vibrant reddish yellow in autumn. Bark is dark shiny brown. Valued for both spring and autumn interest.

Uses: Good for the small garden or for the back of a mixed border in larger gardens

Climate/Position: Sun to partial shade.

Height/Spread: Up to 7 metres with spread of 4 metres.

Soil Requirements: Tolerates most soils including chalk.

Pruning: . Genarally no pruning required.
