Description:

A very hardy, bushy deciduous shrub noted for the long flowering season throughout spring and summer. 'Abbotswood' has masses of pure white flowers and are backed by small dark blue-green leaves.

Slightly spreading twiggy habit good for mass planting, ground cover and also as a low informal hedge.

Climate/Position: Preferably full sun for best flowering but will tolerate partial shade.

Height/Spread: 80cm x 100cm.

Soil Requirements: Easy to grow in any soils.

Pruning: None required but may be trimmed after flowering to keep in shape or old stems may be removed to ground level to rejuvenate.

Special Requirements:

Potentillas are Native to the Rocky, Cascade and Olympic mountains, these hardy plants flower continuously from June through October.
