Nandina domestica 'Firepower'
Description: A dwarf, compact rounded shrub with evergreen foliage, this plant has interest for almost every season. Star-shaped white flowers in the summer are followed by orange / red berries in the autumn and winter. The leaves turn a brilliant red / orange in the autumn. Nandina domestica Firepower is excellent in a limited space or small garden due to its compact growth and habit. It is also used extensively in Japanese and winter gardens. This little plant works hard all year round to provide interest.
Climate / Position: Sunny, sheltered site. Does well in full sun.

Soil Requirements: Moist soil but well drained.
Pruning: No major pruning requirements. Shoots that spoil symmetry can be removed.
