Lonicera 'Golden Trumpet'

Description:

A wonderful variety of the deciduous climbing honeysuckle. The early flowering variety of this sweet smelling hedgerow favourite bursts into an array of golden yellow flowers in early summer.

Climate/Position: Full sun preferred

Height/Spread: 4 metres

Soil Requirements: Well drained soil.

Pruning: Prune back old flowering stems by about one third at the start of the season. Avoid cutting back after flowering to allow the red berries to develop which are a favourite for feeding birds.
