Hydrangea arborescens Incrediball
Description: Large white flowers in July August which really do look incredible! The large rounded rounded balls of flowers start off lime green then open to creamy white and are held above the soft green leaves on sturdy stems and do offer quite a show. The summer flowers fade to greens which provide interest throught the autumn too.
Uses: Good for group planting in dappled shade or in any mixed border. Can be grwn as an informal flowering hedge.
Climate/Position: Light shade preffered.
Height/Spread: Up to 2 metres height and spread.
Soil Requirements: Any soils which is well drained. This Hydrangea is not affected by soil pH as some Hydrangas may be.
Pruning: As this Hydrangea flowers on new seasons wood there is no problem with prunging as they can be cut back hard in spring. The flowers will be on the new growth produced in spring and summer.
