Frangula alnus 'Aspleniifolia'

Description: An elegant and unusual shrub grown for it attractive dark green narrow leaves, each with a wavy edge. The almost thread like foliage also provide rich yellow autumn colour. Suited to introducing a soft texture to a mixed border or used as an accent plant with bamboo like appearance.

Fully hardy but is not suited to a windy spot.

Climate/Position: Prefers a sheltered sunny site

Height/Spread: up to 2 metres

Soil Requirements: suited to most soils. Tolerates dry.
