Forsythia viridissima var. koreana 'Kumsom'
Description: Forsythia are the harbingers of spring with masses of yellow flowers, appearing on branches usually before the leaves. ‘Kumson’ is a stout shrub with paler and larger blooms than many Forsythia noted for its variegated foliage. The leaf colour is dark green with an unusual clear silver netting. The veining is most pronounced on the young foliage but is still present on older leaves and in the autumn the foliage turns burgundy to red tinge so giving additional seasonal interest.
