Cupressus macrocarpa 'Wilma'

Description: A new form of the golden C. macrocarpa which is dwarf growing with an upright pyramidal habit. The plumes of lemony green foliage throughout the year are soft to the touch and have a slight lemony smell. 

Uses: As a dwarf columnar conifer it has many uses in small gardens and small borders.  Ideal for container planting and is even used as a short term indoor plant. Sheltered and protected site.

Climate/Position: sunny location for the strongest  colour but will light up a lightly shaded area. 

Height/Spread: eventually 3 metres x 1 metre.  Less if in a container

Soil Requirements: Free draining soil

Pruning: No pruning needed.  A light trim in late summer if needed.

Special Requirements: To avoid winter damage from cold winds then plant in a sheltered site.
