Description: A very popular vigorous evergreen climber for a warm wall. Clusters of beautifully fragrant creamy-white waxy flowers are produced in late spring and can be stunning on a warm wall. Leathery, glossy trifoliate leaves .

Climate/Position: Sunny position against a wall or fence, cool at the base.

Height/Spread: Vigorous clematis reaching up to 8 metres x 2 metres spread

Soil Requirements: thrives in fertile, well-drained soil especially chalky soils. The roots of clematis like to be kept cool.

Pruning: After establishment and training onto fence or wall, this mid sized large flowered variety requires no pruning. (Group 1)

Special Requirements: To avoid leaf burn or winter damage ensure planted against a protective wall.
