Ceanothus 'Tuxedo'

Description: A new introduction of this popular evergreen shrub with deep almost black leaves. Mid blue flowers are produced in summer in contrast to the foliage. The plant has an open, upright habit. Plant with silver leaved plants to bring out it’s best. Alternatively plant against a light coloured wall.

Drought tolerant once established.

Climate / Position: Full sun, sheltered from cold winds.

Height / Spread: Height up to 3m.

Soil Requirements: Fertile well drained soil.

Pruning : None required but plants can be trimmed after flowering and may be pruned harder for regeneration in spring if required.

Special Requirements: Shelter from cold winds.
