Berberis thunbergii f. atropurpurea 'Pink Queen'

Description: An upright and dense habit with purple - red leaves turning a purplish-pink with distinctive silver white mottling in late summer. A good variety for use as attractive and impenetrable hedging.

Climate / Position: Sun to partial shade. The foliage and berry colour is more pronounced in a sunny spot.

Height / Spread: Height 1.5 metres x 1.5 metres.

Soil Requirements: Tolerant of any soil.

Pruning: Responds well to trimming back - and so a good cultivar for use as hedging.
