Bellis perennis

Description: A showy cultivated daisy used primarily in winter/ spring bedding schemes. Bellis are usually used as edging for formal bedding or in pots and container to provide much needed early colour in the spring. Generally planted in groups in the autumn, the plants overwinter and provide colours of white, pink and red.

(Named cultivarsof distinct colour and size of flower may be available).

Climate/Position: Can grow in sunny semi-shaded positions.

Height/Spread: 20cm x 20cm

Soil Requirements: Tolerates any well drained but moist soil.

Pruning: N/A

Special Requirements: Best treated as an annual and removed after flowering in the spring.

Cultivars of our native and much loved daisy - hence the flurry of common names!
