Trade membership

As a forward thinking company Provender Nurseries are proud to be associated with BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries), the HTA (Horticultural Trades Association) and the APL (Association of Professional Landscapers) , three of the major trade associations within the landscape / horticultural industry in the UK.  BALI, HTA and APL are progressive in promoting the professionalism and raising standards of landscape gardeners, designers and suppliers to the trade and public alike. It is a real achievement for any company to become a member of BALI, HTA  and APL as standards are set high and rigorously maintained. Provender Nurseries are also proud supporters of the SGD (Society of Garden Designers) and are listed on their supplier directory on the SGD Website.  

BALI

British Association of Landscape Industries logoThe British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) was established in 1972 as the UK's representative trade association for the landscaping sector. Membership comprises designers, interior and exterior landscapers, grounds maintenance contractors and affiliate members supplying industry related products and services. BALI has a commitment to deliver professional excellence by continually raising standards across the industry. Provender Nurseries is an affiliate member of BALI.

 

HTA

The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) is the trade association for the UK garden industry.  The HTA has, for over 100 years, promoted the interests of its members and the industry at large. A cost-effective and comprehensive range of business support and development initiatives are available to individual members. To the membership as a whole, HTA provides a vital forum for identifying and dealing with key garden industry issues and opportunities, represents industry views to Government and is its voice in the media.

 

APL

Association of Professional Landscapers logoThe Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) was founded in 1995 in association with the HTA. The APL represents the UK's best landscape professionals and their companies. The APL provides advice, education, research, public relations and many other services to members. The APL is the only landscaping scheme of TrustMark, a government endorsed initiative promoting professional trades people to consumers. Provender Nurseries is an affiliate member of APL.

   

Society of Garden Designers

Society of Garden Designers logoEstablished in 1981 the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) is a professional body promoting design excellence to the horticultural trade and members of the public in the UK and abroad. SGD members are dedicated to maintaining excellent standards of professionalism in garden design. Members are selected by accreditation and can be found on the SGD website and can be searched for by area.
