Spotlight On

Welcome to SPOTLIGHT ON.  Highlighting stock lines that are well worth throwing a SPOTLIGHT ON.

New stock lines.  NEW plant varieties.  Seasonal stock.  Stock that you won’t find anywhere else.

Throwing a SPOTLIGHT ON anything we have that is little bit special, unusual or worthy of basking in the limelight.

Baptisia

Baptisia

A great plant that deserves to be better known. Like a Lupin, only not!

Easy to grow and with little effort comes great reward. The stems are upright in habit and come late spring to summer time are topped with lupin like, normally bi-colour flowers that are highly attractive to bees, hoverflies and many other insects.

On the whole, Baptisia hold their shape when in bloom and afterwards too so do not require staking.

Average height is around 90cm so prefect for mid border planting surrounded by herbaceous Geraniums.

Myrtus

Myrtus

For a fabulous scented shrub for late spring and summer, Myrtle has got to be top of the list.

Versatile in use and looks good in containers, borders, formal, informal gardens and Mediterranean designs.

Dense evergreen foliage, compact growth habit, the scented flowers really do fill the air with scent.

A sunny spot is a must. I don’t know about you, but I’m off to get myself one right now!
