Natural organic way to keep slugs and snails away from plants. Soil Association Approved & suitable for organic gardens. Made from recycled wool. Form a mulch in a 10cm band around the plant with the pellets and wet. The fibres are an irritant to slugs and the mat also absorbs moisture from the slugs foot. The wool pellet mat is excellent at keeping the surface of the soil dry while retaining the moisture beneath. This also helps to keep germinating weeds down. SlugGone is a natural biodegradable protein fibre which releases nitrogen, potassium and sulphur and other trace elements essential for plant growth as it degrades. Safe for use around children and pets. Safe for use on fruit and vegetable plants. Can also protect against cabbage root fly.
