It is the time for the Roses to shine and boy are they putting on a display worth sniffing out at the moment. We have picked out some perfumed pink pleasures for you to pass your nose over:
Chapeau de Napoleon. An old variety of shrub rose. A real favourite of mine with bizarre bobbly buds that open to reveal fabulous large fully double bright pink scented flowers. Highly fragrant.
Blush Noisette. Clusters of semi-double, lilac-pink flowers with a rich clove scent.
Comte de Chambord. Flat, warm pink flowers with a good scent. Repeat flowering.
Frau Dagmar Hastrup. Simple and elegant with single clear pink blooms held in small clusters. Free flowering and followed by rich crimson hips. Ideal for hedging and can reach 1.8m in height. Highly fragrant
