Having stumbled upon Provender Nurseries a number of years ago, I was keen to peruse their impressive range of plants. Both the usual and unusual are here on this large and well laid out site. Whether you are after specimen trees, clipped topiary or the tiniest of Alpines they can all be found in abundance and are stocked in a range of pot sizes to suit most needs, as indeed are the genuinely helpful staff. There's always someone who will take an interest and give you the time and help you require.
Last year, in 2012, as testament to the quality of the plants, Twigs won na RHS Silver Flora Medal at Malvern Spring Show and an RHS Silver-Gilt flora and People’s Choice Award at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, both of which were entirely stocked with plants from the nursery straight from the cash and carry beds.
