As a forward thinking company Provender Nurseries are proud to be associated with BALI and APL, two of the major trade associations within the landscape / horticultural industry in the UK. Both BALI and APL are progressive in promoting the professionalism and raising standards of landscape gardeners, designers and suppliers to the trade and public alike. It is a real achievement for any company to become a member of BALI and APL as standards are set high and rigorously maintained. Both BALI and APL also have strong links with the SGD (Society of Garden Designers).

BALI

The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) was established in 1972 as the UK's representative trade association for the landscaping sector. Membership comprises designers, interior and exterior landscapers, grounds maintenance contractors and affiliate members supplying industry related products and services. BALI has a commitment to deliver professional excellence by continually raising standards across the industry. Provender Nurseries is an affiliate member of BALI.

APL

The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) was founded in 1995 in association with the HTA. The APL represents the UK's best landscape professionals and their companies. The APL provides advice, education, research, public relations and many other services to members. The APL is the only landscaping scheme of TrustMark, a government endorsed initiative promoting professional trades people to consumers. Provender Nurseries is an affiliate member of APL.

Society of Garden Designers

Established in 1981 the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) is a professional body promoting design excellence to the horticultural trade and members of the public in the UK and abroad. SGD members are dedicated to maintaining excellent standards of professionalism in garden design. Members are selected by accreditation and can be found on the SGD website and can be searched for by area.
